If you’ve been to the mall lately and if you care one tiddlywink about your finances, I’m sure you’ve noticed the 30, 40, or 50 and up percent off signs. Do you almost hear angels singing when you see these words, “up to 75% off”? The push is on. Get those summer pieces off the floor to make room for autumn. So what if it's 4000 degrees outside! That piece you wanted in June but didn’t want to pay the big bucks for could be yours now. It might take some hunting but just maybe you can find it at a deep discount. My advice is to buy selectively, check return policies in case of buyers remorse, and ask yourself "what do I have to wear with this?" Ok? Let's shop!
Loft is having an extra 50% off their clearance plus 50% off some full price. But don't they always?? I found this great summer linen/ cotton top and cotton pants that work so well together. But separately they will mix and match with so many things! Super for now and into fall for sure. Oh and btw, I bought a pair of the pants! The picture will take you to Loft.com.

I've told you how tunics are all the rage. Or, in this case a dress for some, tunic for others. And this one in olive green and military undertones is another summer markdown that will take you into fall. As a tunic, pair it with white jeans now and dark jeans in September. As a dress, flats or a pair of espadrilles would work fabulously! Then maybe booties this fall.

And then the shoes. How many pair do you own? Well, these Clarks, which I've tried on and love, are a perfect summer shoe. When you need that BAM! of color.... shoes can do it for sure. Great shoe, great price. And you can't beat free shipping.
Oh my goodness this is one of the best, cutest, fab things I've seen. I love me some navy and white for summer and then they threw in a little black. Another wear now with white and later with dark jeans. Or how about dressing up some black slacks or a black pencil skirt for work? So many options. Remember, there's an H&M in Cool Springs now. That's Williamson County for you West Nashville folks:)

To finish it off, look at this silk and linen, (yes silk and linen for that price) top. This ivory or the orange would be a super choice for now and you know it, later. UT anyone? Keep in mind it is a boxy fit so maybe size down. I believe Boden is pretty good at customer service if fit is wrong.
Aren't sales the best!? Remember though, unless you've got the outfit in mind, it may just take up space in your closet. Think before you spend those dollars. And I am always available to help!
Thanks so much for reading. I'd love some feedback on the new site. A special thanks to my friend Amy Westerman for designing this. I did have some imput but seriously, my computer skills are the worst. As I learn this new site domain, I hope to have more fun features included.
Moms, enjoy your free days now that school has started. And teachers and staff, prayers for a good year!
As always, thanks for reading,
Melinda
