Clearance Friends!

  Clearance friends, clearance.  These are the words to look for as you shop.  Important words. Don't be intimidated by the messy racks.  This is where the treasures are!  If it will help, arm yourselves with a list of what you hope to find.  For instance, did you put off buying a cashmere sweater this past fall?  Now's the time to hop on that because chances are you'll find a great deal.  If you don't see what you want in stores, try looking at your favorite retailer's website.  Read on the see MY finds.....

I hit the mall first.  Something that can frequently be a big ticket item is a blazer.  I found this one that has such great detailing it would be a dream to own.  Great white trim on a wool blend, marled, gray fabric really stands out.  It also has a notch collar and elbow patches.  It would be so fabulous with jeans and boots or with a traditional trouser for work.  This second item is a really good overall navy pant.  They'll work with flats or heels and go fab with this blazer or a cute sweater.  And at Banana Republic, very often there will be an additional percentage off the price marked.  Yay!

  Next I traveled to Nordstrom Rack.  Love to shop there!  And if you're wanting a selection of fun, different Frye boots you'll find it there.  My goal was to find a pair under $200 that was fairly plain.  These are pretty doggone terrific and will work with skirts or jeans.  You know you need them.  Going to print I could not find these online.

Still at Nordstrom Rack I found a beautiful work, church, brunch, dinner or pretty much anything else outfit.  For February you can't beat a winter white pant to say "please hurry up Spring!".  And by Lafayette 148, at this price?  Wowzer.  They're beautiful  The second piece is a lovely blouse that is going to take you flying into March in top form.  It's going to pair nicely with this winter white pant, white jeans, or a black skirt.  Many choices with this pretty.

Who says you can't wear shimmery jacquard after the holidays?  Not me!  What about date night at Kayne Prime, or a wedding, or TPAC?  All great times to wear this little gem I found at Target.  Where?  Target.  Just realized it says Junior.  I've seen it in person and it didn't appear to be teeny like some Jrs. are but you'd just have to try it and see.

It's not only clothing that goes on clearance.  Retailers will also reduce the price on the jewelry they carry.  So, turn your gaze to this lovely necklace.  The gem is a druzy.  It develops when crystals form on minerals.  Then really creative people turn them into wonderful bracelets, necklaces, etc.  They come in all price points. These happen to be 25% off right now.  Now you're up on one of the latest jewelry trends, and words!

Now you know.  If you don't hit it soon the deals will be gone.  Literally. Some retailers ship out their leftovers after a certain time.  So get out there and grab some deals.  Or call me and I'll do it for you.  Or go with you. Whatever.  Have fun!
